Our farm holiday resort Villa Barbarina is dipped in an extraordinarily beautiful private park of five green hectares surrounded by centuries-old olive trees and fine vineyards.

He ideal place to spend a peaceful and relaxing holiday in touch with the still unspoilt nature of the Nurra plain.

The Nurra is a wide plain both rough and lush, almost uninhabited by man. It lies among Porto Torres, Alghero and Sassari, it’s a land spread with almost magical presences dating back to the neolithic period.

Walking along the plain you can appreciate the colours and the scents of the evergreen woodlands spreading over the sand dunes of the quaternary but also the asperity of calcareous rocks of the Jurassic.

The large, elegant swimming pool embellishes the lovely natural setting. It has a large parking for 300 cars.
The enclosed park is provided with cameras to guarantee top security to the guests.

Our residence is conveniently located near Alghero airport, which is only 3 kilometres away.

It is just 1 Km from Santa Maria La Palma, a village where you can find restaurants, banks, pharmacies, church and police station.

It’s 4 kilometres from Fertilia and 8 km from the centre of Alghero, ancient town by the sea from which its name is derived.

The town has been fortified with impregnable towers and walls of the 16th-century and with its evocative alleys it’s like a gem set in the land of Sardinia.

Villa Barbarina is surrounded by the most beautiful beaches in the area and is 14 kilometres from CapoCaccia and 3 km from the evocative Lake Baratz at Porto Ferro.

Moreover, it’s 20 kilometres from the port of Porto Torres. A shuttle service is provided to and from the airport.
